We were visiting the area and made a purchase at this store. At least an hour later we were sitting outside having something to eat. Amanda from the shop found us and said she was looking for us as she overcharged us. Her next stop was going to go to our hotel to find us. What a thoughtful and wonderful person! Amanda said she didn’t want us to have a bitter memory of Alexandria! Thank-you Amanda!
I loved this shop! The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a quaint place to visit and many lovely things to buy.
Fabulous store! Wonderful clothing, amazing jewelry and art. Amanda and her crew are some of my favorite humans! I have shopped this store for nearly 25 years. I haven’t even lived in VA since 2014 but I stop in every time we visit our family and friends.
I bought my wedding dress here (a Jessica McClintock) in 1991. Having just decided not to keep the dress any longer, I opened the storage box after all these years, and found the receipt was in the box, too. Of course I googled the shop. Imagine my surprise to find the store is still in business. Congratulations!
