After twenty-three years as part of the Bellmore community, we relocated to our current location in Merrick, NY. My son has attended the Goshinkan Dojo for several years and loves the Dojo. All of the sensais are extremely knowledgeable, supportive, and skilled at jujitsu. It has been amazing to see how quickly his skills develop week over week.
My daughter and son ( Penelope and Luke) attend classes here and we cannot say enough good things about it! They are learning so much and gaining strength and confidence along the way. The people are wonderful and welcoming. We would highly recommend Goshinkan Jujitsu Dojo!!
We tried a few places before we signed up at Goshinkan Dojo. As soon as my son left the trial class, he said “I loved it. When can I come again?”, I knew this was the right fit for him. From our very first phone call with Sensei Jeff, I knew we would have a great experience and be treated like family.
Feels good when achieving the impossible things that are put in front of me. Who would've thought I was be an orange belt in Jiu-jitsu let alone be 53 and still being able to do things with my body weight. But here I am almost 4 years and doing it. I owe alot of that to the best Shihan around Jeff Lovering whose kind, understanding and always good at making you feel comfortable and laughing when you mix up your right and lefts. Lol. Thank you Shihan for being amazing person and friend.
What an incredibly special place! GoShinKan dojo was recommended to me and what a great decision it was to enroll my son. He’s grown leaps and bounds in just the short time he’s been here. Looking forward to working with these awesome people for a long time. My son and I already feel like family here. Thank you GoShinKan Dojo!
