UPDATE: you can see the original review below. note that it took them 6 MONTHS TO REPLY TO MY REVIEW and offer to talk to me about it to "make things right." does this sound like somebody you would want to do your taxes? I think they did ok with it, I know they got it in the day before the deadline (which I am pretty sure wouldn't have happened had I not sent them several reminders.) I started when Verdant was Goracke & Associates --when Brian's father was sharing office space with an attorney (long before the La Vista space). Brian has been my accountant through several adventures, and will always be my "go-to" for accounting advice. He has helped us, and several other people in my family save dollars with taxes, and accumulate wealth. Disorganized, incompetent liars. stay away.
Trash customer service. Called multiple times to ask questions and deal with my account. Would get hung up or just transferred around.
I had them file an amended return for me after I screwed up on my own. I think they did ok with it, I know they got it in the day before the deadline (which I am pretty sure wouldn't have happened had I not sent them several reminders.) I asked Brian if it would be ok if I emailed him periodically throughout the year with tax questions, even told him I would be happy to pay a consultation fee for this, he said that would be fine.
