Has ripped off 3 prior treasurers in my HOA by accepting money and then not appropriately filing our taxes. Did not resolve a tax issue from 2019, which was the reason Verdant was hired in the first place by the HOA. Nathaniel Jones stopped responding to me when I started probing and trying to come to a solution, and the previous accountant the HOA worked with (Crystal Keller) left the company and never told us, resulting in many months of no-responses to emails. UPDATE: you can see the original review below. note that it took them 6 MONTHS TO REPLY TO MY REVIEW and offer to talk to me about it to "make things right." does this sound like somebody you would want to do your taxes? ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had them file an amended return for me after I screwed up on my own. I think they did ok with it, I know they got it in the day before the deadline (which I am pretty sure wouldn't have happened had I not sent them several reminders.) I started when Verdant was Goracke & Associates --when Brian's father was sharing office space with an attorney (long before the La Vista space). Brian has been my accountant through several adventures, and will always be my "go-to" for accounting advice. Trash customer service. Called multiple times to ask questions and deal with my account. Would get hung up or just transferred around.
