Had a ct scan with contrast . While the contrast was being pushed in the if slipped out of the vein at the last of the injection. Arm swelled up and it hurt like hell. Don't want to do that again . arm is swollen still and is sore.

I went in to the ER with my three year old 12/30 who was Lethargic and having trouble breathing. We got back into a room quickly but our first nurse didn't even know how to weigh in kg. Then we had a nurse named Isabel that was rude, terrible and uneducated. She had a rude demeanor to her and made a very scary stressful situation even worse. People like this should not be nurses. I've had good and bad experiences at this hospital. Wish I would have drove the extra mile to children's.

My mom is currently in critical care. She's not seen a medical professional for 20+ years but recently has desperately needed it. She took an ambulance yesterday and was seen immediately. Husband went to ER with slurred speech, short breath, dizziness and a cough from hell. They told him he was ok and to follow up in a few days with his PC. Next day he was worse. Urgent care looked at the X-rays Good Sam took and told us in 15 minutes that hubby had pneumonia. How was that missed?

I just had surgery on Friday. From the time I got there in the patient admin office to the recovery room, I encountered nothing but pleasant, caring staff members. Thank you to the nurse who brought me back to the pre op room, my pre op nurse Marilyn, she was awesome, to the anesthesiologist team, the nurse taking me to the surgery room, my wonderful doctor, Dr. Pomeroy, to the nurses in the recovery room, Scott and sorry I can't remember all their names. Thank you for making a first surgery for me, not such a scary experien... read more

Most of the doctors and nurses I have dealt with are jerks. The don't listen and try to explain something and they don't seem to are. It also does not matter how much pain I am in the doctor thinks 2 mgs of morphine will work just fine for some one who takes Vicodone.

My father has received the utmost, best care imaginable. I am a total fan of Tacoma General Hospital and the Multicare system and never imagined I'd care for another institution, but Good Samaritan has completely earned my trust
