We were very grateful for our experience with Good Beginnings and Dr. Amy who worked diligently with my daughter to overcome her GI issues. After struggling with doctors and medicines for almost a year, PT was the missing link. Dr. Amy made PT fun for my daughter who very much looked forward to her appointments and doing her "homework" in between sessions. Dr. Amy was amazing to work with. My son looked forward to his appointments, and she always engaged him. The drive from Maryland was often over an hour, but it was well worth it. After two hospital visits and seeing a GI pediatrician, the physical therapy at Good Beginnings provided a treatment plan that did work over time. I am very appreciative of Dr. Amy's expertise and delightful personality.
The Good Beginnings billing department was very helpful in resolving an insurance situation for us.
The PT itself was fine, but the billing policies are INSANE. My daughter was sick and, out of courtesy to the staff and other clients, I cancelled our appointment. BUT you can only cancel one appointment every 6 months or they charge you $100. Technically, you can reschedule to avoid the penalty, but they are always fully booked, so good luck with that. Oh, and you have to have the same day/time for your entire time with them, so it's not like your own schedule can vary at all. Hope you don't need to go out of town for the h... read more
