This was my mom’s go-to quilt shop until she got Alzheimer’s. Before Alz, anytime I was in town visiting, mom and I would shop here. After mom passed, dad and I went in. Mom hadn’t been in for a couple of years because of the Alz. They told me that mom still had a $25 credit on her account and asked if I’d like to spend it. How wonderfully thoughtful of them. It meant so much, not because of the money but because of the thought and compassion behind the gesture.
