I truly don’t understand the hype around Goldmyer Hot Springs WA, US. Their entire system is horrible from start to finish. First off, the rules are absolutely ridiculous and wildly unreasonable. The no refunds and no rescheduling policy - even if you get into a car accident or have a serious emergency -is unbelievably low. Road to trailhead requires clearance and AWD. The trail to Goldmyer is mostly flat, and it is about 5.5 miles until the springs. The place is pristine, and very special.
Flat 5 mile extremely easy hike or mountain bike from parking lot. Do however, need all-wheel drive vehicle to access parking lot. Visit during Autumn holidays like Halloween and won’t have to deal with crowds as much. Hanging bear canister at every camp spot. 4 pools with different warmth temperatures. Bench to relax on inside cave of hot spring. Icy cold soaking plunge pool located just next to hot and warm pools. Highly recommended spot of retreat.
