Please note that the following account reflects my personal experience and may not represent the overall practices of the company; however, it highlights significant concerns regarding their trustworthiness and respect for ********** June 2024, we consigned items valued between $30,000 and $50,000 with Goldin, specifically through D.A. During the three months that our items were in their possession, D.A. and Goldin were unable to locate two of them. After extensive communication, they managed to find one item, which they sen... read more

In early June 2024, we reached out to Goldin Auctions LLC to consign a collection of collectible Star Wars items valued between $30,000 and $50,000. We ensured the items were shipped via ***** with next-day air service and required signature confirmation, addressed to **** ********. However, after more than two months of correspondence, on August 23rd, **** informed me that they were unable to locate two of the items, which were valued between $6,000 and $10,000 for one and $500 to $2,000 for the other. When I inquired about... read more

They sell counterfeit and fake items with no verification. Be careful buying from them as they will not refund you if the item is fake. I wouldn't trust anything you have bought from them.Scam company that doesn't care about you only money

Extremely dishonest. They had an auction for a ********************* owned bat, signed by the 1991 ******************* They advertised this for a long time. They even had it on their ******* season 2. While Im winning the bid, Goldin decided to extend the bidding for another 24 hours due to the assassination attempt on ***********************. They added more time, and the bat doubled in price. Also, I planned my schedule with the buffing ending on Saturday. Moving it to Sunday didnt give me the chance to bid later. They are... read more

Business response:

Hi ***,We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed in our decision to extend the auction window due to events that transpired. However, we adamantly deny the claim that it was for financial gain as closing an Auction past 10PM on a Sunday is not in our best interest as a company. It is typical that our items receive the most bid activity in the last hour of the auction, and the bat was projected to sell around the same amount regardless of end date. During the auction close on Sunday, the bidding worked exactly as it woul... read more

My experience with Goldin Auctions has been a complete nightmare. I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with their unprofessionalism and lack of communication. I want to share my story to warn others about the risks of doing business with this company.I submitted an item for auction in December 2023, hoping for a fair and timely sale. The auction took place in January and ended in February with a final bid of over $3,000. I expected to receive my payment shortly after, as stated in their payment terms.Unfortunately, th... read more

I have sent them 2 very expensive items in December and have still not received any kind of communication or update regarding what is happening with my items. I have not even received a plan of what is going to happen. All I got was a confirmation that the items were received. When I go on to my Account there is no record of any items of mine that they have. I should have sent items to Sothebys.
