I regret agreeing to occupational therapy and should have pushed harder for sports PT after I repeatedly stressed my wrist and shoulder climbing. Yes, I learned how to pay close attention to ergonomics during everyday life to ensure it doesn’t further atrophy, but it didn’t help my healing process. After the second session I realized I wanted more targeted wrist exercises, but they still had me do generic exercises and they didn’t provide me any progression suggestions until my last session.
