We have a move scheduled originally scheduled in middle of May 2024 - paid the deposit and received an email confirmation in March. And then we changed our moving date on April 30th - spoken to a representative on April 11th, received an email that the move is confirmed. One day prior on April 29th a text message was sent to us confirming about the move. Between 8am - 10am nobody showed up, no phone call whatsoever. Paid the security deposit and had a moved scheduled for 4/30. Received a text confirmation 4/29 that the movers are scheduled to come between 8am-10am. On moving day, waited until 10am and no movers showed. Called the phone number to Golden Snake Service and the number is no longer in service. Called Dominick (supposed owner) and number no longer in service. Called the number I receive the text confirmation and same thing. I check Yelp and this business is closed until 2025!?! I had a contract with the owner Dominic Cruz to move my belongs from Maryland to Delaware in March 2024. I sent a deposit check which was cashed. The day of the move he did not show or call. Another person who said they were friends would be handling the move. He had all my information and I had no other choice because I had the move that day. This is the worst movers in the industry. They offer you a low rate to get you in the hook and then snail-pace the move. The guys were deliberately slow, making telephone calls each time they took things to the truck. It took them 6 hours to move a one bedroom to the next building in the same property less than four minutes walk (not drive) away. They arrived at 11 am and completed the move at 5.30 pm.
