I had purchased a utv machine at the spur of the moment or I would have gone through my normal credit union. Golden Plains approved me for a loan and I thought it’s a credit union so it should be good. Boy was I wrong!! I like to make extra payments when I first get a loan to bring the interest down on it. If you get a loan for a utv you only can get a statement once per year. I asked for a new payment book first of this year. Was told I would be getting one. The payment book never came, the yearly statement finally did come. It said I had 2-1/2 payments left. Called got my payoff,I made those payments now they say I owe nearly a whole payment minus a few cents. Still trying to sort it out. so far so good. My car loan was bought by this CU and I've never heard of them. I read some of the negative reviews and initially got really concerned. However I called one branch and spoke with a very nice lady who helped answer my questions. I was able to set up auto debit and haven't had a problem since. Unlike other reviews, I don't have to drive 25 miles to make a payment. It's a simple Credit Union that I'm using to pay my car note.
Had business with Brittany today very professional she was awesome.
They got rid of Shared Banking and now I have no way of making my car payment. I have to drive 75 miles to the nearest branch. I have no internet or bank account. They don't accept Money Gram or other instant electronic services. They just made making payments harder and less convenient. I used skip payment that is on my November coupon. On December 19fh they called me want to know about my missed November payment. They had denied my skip payment and was charging me a lare fee.
