My mother was there for approximately two years. The decline in care, food and other services was abysmal In December she fell and broke her hip. They took absolutely no responsibility even though I have pictures and I have video of the two left shoes they put on her feet. I blame them for the decline in my mother’s already compromised memory They have helped to tear my family apart.

If you’re reading reviews and considering Golden Lodge for your loved one, then please do some research! I worked for an outside agency here for 2 yrs and feel obligated to review based on my findings. The things I witnessed and were told by GL staff are heartbreaking and inexcusable. My Dad has been at Golden Lodge for nearly 3 years and is very comfortable there. The facility is very clean, the staff are very caring, and the residents are friendly. There have been some changes recently that have improved things dramatically. Sarah (ED), Heather, Malia, and Dewey are doing a great job, as are the new kitchen staff.
