Wow, I've shopped here since they opened in Merrill. Finally got around to trying the brats. They were amazing. Yes, a dollar or two more than Johnsonville or even the local butcher, but WELL worth it. Incredible flavor, the perfect amount of fat, nice size. And hats off to the meat counter staff who know just what to recommend and how to describe the products they offer. I also got some "beef steak" brats at their recommendation, and can't wait to try them.
I love this store. We always stop when we are in the area. The best chocolate cream pie!!!
I'm editing my review from 6 years ago. The staff is still awesome and the selection is great. However this store has become ABSOLUTELY UNAFFORDABLE even for higher income. Every single item in there has not gone up by 1.00 it 2.00 to 3.00 more. From vitamins to dried goods. It's outrageous. I get that we have inflation. But at this point it's laughable. The downtown grocery in Wausau is cheaper. Golden harvest is forcing my hand to buy online. Not one thing in there do I think wow what a deal. Chicken thighs are now over $8... read more
