Amazing volunteer-led bird walks in the Bay Area. Great way to learn how to bird. Most activities are free, and an inexpensive membership is a great way to support this fabulous organization.
Golden Gate Audubon is encouraging responsible dog owners to the many off-leash areas in Golden Gate National Recreation Area in order to protect the endangered species living on the coast. There is no discussion of a ban, especially on-leash.
Group is at the forefront of pushing to ban dogs from GGNRA. Do I need another reason to despise them?
