We recently purchased a vintage Danish sideboard from Golden Age Design, and even though we haven’t received the piece yet, we’re already so impressed by the entire experience. Bill has been incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the process. He clearly cares deeply about the craftsmanship and history of every piece they bring in. One of our favorite spots in the Twin Cities. We recently picked up a beautiful chest here, plus art, home goods, cards, and some great kids’ stuff. Everything feels curated without being fussy. The team is friendly, the vibe is great, and it’s hard to walk in and not leave with something. Highly recommend if you’re into design-forward pieces with a laid-back, welcoming feel.
Golden Age is one of my favorite places to shop. Over the years, I’ve bought so many things from them: our beautiful oak dining table, a dresser, lots of home goods, and plenty of gifts for friends and family. Everything they carry is so well-made and thoughtfully chosen. It’s the kind of store where you always find something special, and the people who run it are just as great as the pieces they sell. Highly recommend!
A joy to meet the family behind this shop and to see clearly their love for great design in every piece. Bought a scandinavian wooden children’s telephone that still brings me joy every day as a surprise favorite decor piece and pop of yellow in my life. They also were very kind in helping discuss how I might help rehab a mid century facebook marketplace find. Anxiously await the day my salary lets me buy a lovely desk from them!
Bought our dining room table here several years ago and love it! My parents bought a table too! Also a great place for gifts and home goods.
