I am 65 years young and started investing in silver five years ago. Having no experience I was swindled out of my retirement account by metals.com for 50% of my IRA!! These complaints are frivolous. i have done business with Goldpro many times. I always wait on delivery as i do from other vendors. I ordered monster boxes of silver in the same time frame mentioned in another complaint and was told and knew they were new issue coins from the mint. My friends also bought them and were told the same thing. We waited several weeks to get the coins. Most metals brokers keep some stock and other orders drop ship from wholesalers in the business. Big Thicket Coin and Bullion is not a scam, nor is Mike this person you'll have allowed him to be made out to be; I've been doing wholesale for over two years with him, and let me tell you something about honorable, His Business partner took my money, over 134,000 worth. 7/29/2020 I called **** ***** on his cell and made a deal to purchase 3 monster boxes of silver American Eagles on 7/22/20 for $12,890 x 3 = $38,670. **** told me he "locked in" the price. I called him multiple times over the next seven (7) days but **** Never picked up the phone even though I always left urgent messages for him to call me back ASAP. **** did answer one time and said he was busy and would call me right back - but he NEVER did. I had a very disappointing experience with Big Thicket and will not do business with them again. I purchased two gold coins that were never delivered (after nearly two months of repeated assurances that they would be sent). I had to take legal action against the company before i was eventually refunded the cost of the coins. Exceptionally poor customer service (if you are fortunate enough to get them to respond to your inquiries) that ranks them at the very bottom of coin dealers I have worked with over the past twenty years... read more
