Buyer beware with this auction house. I recently bought this “Japan katana”. Note it doesn’t say “Japanese”. When the sword Arrived the cheap , plastic nature was obvious. I followed up with the auction house and was Told I should have looked at the pics more closely or asked them questions before bidding. The close up pic shows the cheap plastic. I took this photo. The first pic below is the one posted by Gold Coast along with a thorough description extolling the virtues of this sword as a Japan Katana. No place in the description is it mentioned that the Katana was a cheap imitation or might possibly be. I also attached a pic I took of the plastics piece on this sword. Looks like a cheap high school project. Gold Coast is thus far saying I should have known better than to buy the sword.
