Godwin's was founded in 1948 by brothers Gethin and George Godwin, they purchased a modest grocery store at the location of the State street Saginaw store. Over the years, the family watched Saginaw Township grow out and around the store. From this humble beginning evolved one of Michigan's largest furniture and mattress companies. The price range is what killed the rating for me. Almost everything that is normal size is 1k & up. Not to mention the furniture's quality is okay at best. There is higher quality new furniture in the area for a fraction of the cost.
Austin is the GOAT of furniture sales. He sold me a mattress and I’ve had the best sleep ever since. If you need furniture, find Austin. He’s super knowledgeable and friendly! 10/10, would come back again!!
