Nothing Special No doubt about it, the chocolate is great. But it's also super expensive. It's not worth it to me to pay over a dollar for one little piece of chocolate when I can pay the same for a Snickers bar. I'd recommend going to Lindt Chocolate, a new chocolate store at Southpark. The chocolate is better and cheaper, and the sales people are a lot friendlier.
Too expensive If you are rich and ritzy, I guess this is the place for you. And I'm sure it's quality chocolate. But the store belongs right where it is in that mall, next to Burberry and Nordstrom and all those stores that are 'quality' yet very sparse as far as what they offer. There are some boxed chocs, coffee, hot choc, and choc covered strawberries, etc. but EXPENSIVE> not for me.
Great Belgian Chocolates If you like Belgian chocolates you must stop at this Godiva shop. Definitely try the Chocolixir it is the most tasty frozen drink you'll ever have. The staff at this store don't seem to mind when you ask to try before you buy and I would suggest asking to sample the sweets before buying any large quantities. Godiva tends to be a bit pricey and when you pick the perfect confections it is well worth every cent but I know from experience that their dark chocolate is not too my liking. awesome I love their chocolate. Its just heavenly. THe staff is always so helpful in choosing what I want to buy. I get a lot of gifts there for friends. When they package the chocolate it has a beutiful presentation to give as a gift. The chocolate cover strawberries and peanut butter cups are my favorite. THey even make them at the store. YUM!!
Godiva Chocolatier Palo Alto The best time to shop at Godiva's is the day after a major chocolate holiday such as Valentine's Day or Easter. The chocolate is good but really expensive. The day after a holiday you can get the holiday treats for 40-50% off. PROS: You can purchase single pieces of candy. Good after holiday sales. CONS:
Too Expensive Godiva chocolate is good. It is smooth and does not melt as easily as See's. All the pieces seem to have a fruity flavor even milk and dark chocolate. At close to $2 per piece, the chocolate is pretty expensive. You can join their club and once in awhile you will get an email letting you have a free piece. See's gives you a sample anytime you come in. I would say the chocolate is overpriced unless you like the fruity flavor and don't mind parting with a large chunk of change.
Best OMG, I can't walk by without getting a chocolate covered strawberry!!! They are the bbbbbbbest chocolate store!!!
Godiva - great chocolates This store has very very nice chocolates. I had bought a birthday gift for a friend from this place and she loved it. I would totally recommend going to this place.
Godiva is Elegant This is a perfect place for buying some chocolates. They have a wide variety of chocolates for all kinds of taste buds. Nice place for getting a unique gift. A little expensive but worth it.
