I purchased furniture from this store in the middle of August. Was told it would take 8-12 weeks to arrive. I am now over 13 weeks in waiting for said furniture. When I called the store to check on an update last week, I was told my sales rep was out on the floor with a client and he would call me back. Never received a follow up, or any other notice of the furniture arriving later than expected. The entire furniture industry is experiencing delays unlike we have ever seen. Our vendors are certainly having difficulty meeting their expected ship dates, and there are so many factors affecting production. Everything from surging demand to labor shortages, component availability on foam and springs to trucking delays. Will never buy from Godby again.... I will not ever buy from Godby again. I purchased a chair that I was able to pick up...the ottoman was not in stock so it had to be ordered....When I got the chair home I realized that my space was to small to use the ottoman....I was told that the ottoman woild not be available for 4 to 6 weeks...so I called to cancel the order right away....$50.00 restocking fee? restocking for and item not in stock? WOW.......too late for me but....I would go to Kittles...Gerdt....VC....or anywhere else... read more
Great Furniture Store with Excellent Service We recently purchased a kitchen table and chairs from Godby in Westfield. After searching all over in Carmel, Fishers and Westfield, we appreciated the opportunity to actually browse without pressure. They did ask if they could help but were not pushy or did not make us feel like they were stalking us.
