Ghosted. On the recommendation of a high net worth neighbor we respected, we contacted this firm about preparing 2023 taxes, several months before tax season. We wanted to establish a relationship and per Ms.Walker’s request after an email exchange, we sent her previous years’ tax returns and a specific list of questions around generating a 1099 for a freelance vendor we use. Then, nothing. Crickets right up to deadline to generate the 1099, which I figured out how to do myself out of necessity. No tax prep kit sent to us, e... read more
