If you don’t mind getting ripped off, go rental is for you. I paid $100 a day for a RAV4 which is at least 3 times market value, but I did it for convenience and ease of rental. BUT. They have the absolute nerve to, after the fact, charge $92 for one quarter of a tank of gas. That is disgusting. Like robber barons…. They figure they can get away with it. Shame on them.
Awful
Overall it was a great, seamless experience. My only complaint was the fuel charges. We were told it would be $12.99 a gallon if we didn't fuel the car, which is crazy, but ok. Unfortunately, they did not tell us that the car we were driving had a button to open the fuel door that was located inside the vehicle. We tried to fuel the car but couldn't get the fuel door open so we were stuck paying the $12.00 a gallon. It would have been nice if we were told that little tidbit of info when we received the car.
