Love this company. Their prices can be a bit higher than the chains but you pay for convenience. Tai at the Scottsdale counter is exceptional! Such a sweet attentive human!! It was a delight chatting with her as we waited for our car! Top notch service here.
This place is a complete scam. My hotel (JW Marriott Desert Ridge) recommended them. Over the phone they quoted $179 per day for the SUV, we rented for 4 full days and returned on the 5th day. I expected of course for there to be fees and taxes. They charged us over $1,000 (yes $1,000) in additional fees, everything from late return fee (what? We rented a car from Fairmont Scottsdale Prince. Besides charging $130 for Toyota Camry per day plus extra for a car seat, they also charged us for us insurance which we declined but they charged anyways. The car itself was clean worked fine.
Aside from the fact they left a woman on our flight stranded and crying with a young daughter on arrival, we found they overcharged our card when we arrrived home. We left the car cleaner than we got it and filled it up at the airport when we dropped it off at 4am. They just plain ripped us off....
IMPORTANT UNDERSTANDING REGARDING GO RENTALS BELOW... But first, I had a terrific experience with GR -- which I relate below. The important understanding I can provide is that Go Rentals specializes in private aviation. They are generally located at suburban airports where private planes (all the way from a small Cessna up to a larger private jet) come and go frequently.
