We routinely use go rentals in Oakland and Santa Rosa and have always had great experiences, the site is secure and the staff is professional, the vehicles are always immaculate and ready to go when we arrive.
If you enjoy being actively deceived and ripped off, Go for Go Rental. They’ll add a $16/day Fastrak without you asking. They may offer a “discount” on high list prices, then charge all the taxes on their ridiculous list price basis. If you need to drop the car at a different location, ask for the charge. GoRentals in general, but Oakland specifically is second to none when it comes to rent a vehicle. If you don’t want to go through the “traditional hassle” of renting a car this is the way to go.
