I am providing this review as a matter of public interest regarding the professional conduct of Gnech and Associates. Mr. Gnech, a former Police Prosecutor and QPU Legal Director, was recently engaged to issue a 'Cease and Desist' notice against me, a complainant and victim, while an active Ethical Standards Command (ESC) investigation (COM-26-00655) and CCC referral (CO-26-0734) were ongoing into QPS misconduct. As a result of paying union fees, I used them in a work related matter. The positive from my experience was that I was not billed the approximate $700 to $800 an hour they charge in fees. The admin and legal clerks were also helpful and nice. The service I got from my legal rep was poor during the 3.5 years I utilised their services.
