My family and I have used Global for their shared branching since we moved to Washington years ago and had banked in Idaho previously. Even when you’re not a member, they go out of their way to make a great impression. Me and some family members have even switched accounts over there because of the convenient locations and customer service!
When a person dies, no one should have to take over their payments. My mom VOLUNTEERED to repay my dad's loan...she does not have to, by law. Then you charge he $13 when she repays more than minimum payment and another $10 when she has to call to make the payment. Your people do not understand that she is legally blind and has no computer. So it doesn't do her any good when your people tell her to go online to make payments online. When she took over the payments, she had a balance of $3500. I have been with Global since September and I have experienced nothing but great things! They really care about their members and focus on helping us out the best they can. I was able to balance transfer my high interest credit card with a bank to Global for no cost to an interest rate that was almost HALF of what it was there! Highly recommend.
