They are severely understaffed, and because of that, everyone is made to sit in the same room rather than receiving proper individual care. Some of the workers do not understand English, which makes communication extremely difficult when you are trying to explain a resident’s needs. There are also no activities whatsoever to keep the residents engaged. Even more concerning, they do not properly feed residents who are unable to feed themselves. Glenfield was a gift from God- truly the most warm and “welcoming” feeling place. The staff felt like they cared for our family like their own. Highly recommend!!!

Everyone at Glenfield- and I mean EVERYONE- was really great when we needed a place for an ailing family member. The director Violet was extremely competent and easy to work with. All of the staff made my family member feel at home while they were there. An excellent place.
