This is a charismatic property to stay in. Very spacious. Poorly insulated and inefficient heating which is expensive to run, which should be a consideration for winter visitors. Great communal spaces including kitchen. Efficient plumbing. Full of stuffed animals which might not be to everyone's taste! Not easily accessible by public transport but fine as long as you are driving.
Incredible location full of history and chances for exploration. The main house is the perfect location to feel like a character in a Mistery novel, with spacious social rooms and stunning views of the Glen. We had a lovely time during our stay and I'm genuinely looking forward to return.
Timeless and cosy lodge set in the most beautiful and romantic location - oh the views of the morning mist! Our large group was well taken care of, nothing was too much trouble for the hosts (cot for our baby was perfect). Highly recommend hiring a chef (the hosts can advise), reading about the facinating history of the house and getting out and about locally - there's lot to do. Outstanding hospitality in the heart of the Highlands!
Atmospheric lodge in the majestic Scottish highlands. We went away with a large group of friends earlier in the year which the house accommodated easily and comfortably. There are breathtaking views from the lodge which provided the perfect base to explore the surrounding, iconic areas such as Loch Ness. Fantastic, memorable long weekend!
Ruime lodge met meerdere slaapkamers en badkamers. Grote eetkamer en keuken. In de kelder was een biljart ruimte en tafeltennis ruimte. Was behoorlijk verouderd en sommige meubels vielen uit elkaar. Ook de dekens wat op de bedden lagen waren vies en zaten bloedvlekken in. Ook konden alle ruimtes wel een sopje gebruiken.
