I had a very disappointing experience. I was charged significantly more than last year for essentially the same tax service. The price was nearly triple, and it felt like the increase happened after my tax refund amount was known. There was no clear explanation for the higher fee. I would not recommend this service due to the lack of transparency and consistency in pricing.
This was a terrible experience in 2024. Not only was the accountant 15 minutes late, leaving us nervously standing outside a building with no signage regarding work hours, but when he finally showed up, everything was slow and sloppy. He was unwilling to help us and kept repeating that we had big problems, but didn't explain how to solve them. He didn't even look at our receipts or invoices, simply sent our T4 and that was it.
