I moved my dad in on a Wednesday. He died on Sunday. Four nights. He was neglected until he died. Yes, I paid for the “extra” care. When he got there he had his and his deceased wife’s gold wedding bands on a chain around his neck…which he never took off. When he died (FOUR NIGHTS after he arrived) they were nowhere to be found and Glassford place had “no idea” what I was talking about. Relocated my father here, love the small community staff goes above and beyond they are so caring and very pleasant! I'm bringing my dad closer to me as I live out of state but I am really going to miss the staff as well as the residents. They made my dad and I feel so welcomed and comfortable. Thank you all so much you feel like family!!!!!!

I am a local social worker who is in and out of facilities all the time. We have removed all of our clients from this facility due to the poor management and subsequent care. Staff does the best they can. But unfortunately, it is not being run by qualified professionals. I’ve reached out to the corporate office with no response, which is consistent with the level of concern for the welfare of the clients. Sadly this property did not live up to expectations. I was told by many that this place was a great tight knit community, and due to its size the residents would be more likely to get one on one care. Most the staff was very sweet and friendly when we took the tour (for my grandmother) and we were feeling quite optimistic at first, that is until lunch...
