My mom lived at Glassford place Senior Living for over two years! She always told me how nice everyone was to her. She said the food was really good and she had fun with the activities they have available. Also was grateful they have a salon on site. She loved to keep up on her hair! She enjoyed making friends and having people to relate to. I’m grateful my mom was able to live the rest of her days at a place where she was happy, and well cared for. I moved my dad in on a Wednesday. He died on Sunday. Four nights. He was neglected until he died. Yes, I paid for the “extra” care. When he got there he had his and his deceased wife’s gold wedding bands on a chain around his neck…which he never took off. When he died (FOUR NIGHTS after he arrived) they were nowhere to be found and Glassford place had “no idea” what I was talking about.
