2023 represents my 49th year dealing with Glass & Glass CPA's (formerly Glass & Blum). Now in their 2nd generation of family ownership, they took the time, and I dare say spent the money, to educate their staff on the myriad of tax law changes occurring year after year. This was paramount as my growing family (now grown) passed through a variety of financial phases needing the tax and investment guidance only a knowledgeable accounting firm could provide. Glass and Glass is by far the best accounting firm that I have ever used. My first time filing with them was for tax year 2021. For tax year 2022, I failed to contact the company to let them know I would need them to file an extension because I was in a remote area. By the time I was able to reach out to them, the deadline of April 18th had already passed. I was so worried that nothing was done so I called them frantically.
