This “park” is owned by the Parks Department. There’s nothing really to see here it’s mostly just woods, barely a walking trail and no playground or facilities, just woods and a small grassy area. Supposedly there was a plan to renovate this area into a real park for the community but that hasn’t happened yet as of 2025. If you want a playground for the kids and walking trails, right across the street from this park, Co-Op City has a beautiful property with lots of walking/bike trails, benches, and playgrounds.
Cool place. You need to bring things to keep the kids occupied. Not much to do from where I was. It may have been more but mostly woods
