I've been riding Gilson boards since 2022 and have picked up four snowboards from them so far — and they never disappoint. My favorite by far is the 2023 Gilson Undead. That board is insanely fun and playful. It rides smooth on groomers but really shines with its versatility across different snow conditions and terrain. The ski patrol that I am a member of partnered with Gilson for a project about the skier's responsibility code. For this, I was able to demo and ride several boards, instantly I feel in love with the Pinegrenade. It's got a great profile, is playful, pretty soft flex, but still holds an edge on the firm stuff. My 12-year-old son had outgrown his old snowboard after two seasons, and we’d been hearing great things about Gilson—so we decided to give them a try.
