My recommendation is to use a different bank. This bank takes an extra long time to process credits and debts, and will post debts for the day it is processed. Not for the time and date it actually took place. When asked why it took 2 wks to even use the funds I opened the checking account with. Was told "That is normal and just how it is" with them hanging up on me. SO I RECOMMEND. .. GO TO A DIFFERENT BANK.. I AM FOR SURE....

open banking there since 1993 I never had an issue with them they gave me my loan to buy my first house was very little credit I have made every loan payment I never been turned down when I needed help
The people there are wonderful. I've never had a bad experience there. We're pleased with the business part of GNB as well!!
I banked at Gilmer national for 12+ years,received several loans one for around 12k, ,paid every payment on time,paid loan off early,that loan was through Charles holmes...got many smaller loans paid on time ,paid all of them off early(by a few months usually), for a total of ,around 20k....now I'm making more money at my job,than ever before, they refused me a 5k loan, I bring home 5k a month... everything I own is paid for...so now I'm taking my bussiness,to cypress bank in pittsburg....run,don't walk,away from GILMER NATI... read more
