Vienna Aquarium & Pets is unsanitary This place has a better selection of fish than Petco for sure, but the store smells like cigarettes and dust and there are lots of cockroaches!
THIS PLACE IS WEIRD!!!! Went to the store to look at fish and what a shock. Tanks are filthy, animals sick. Staff know nothing about the stock. Equipment is very old, rusted, and outdated. Looked at some birds with my daughter and she started to cry because they were so malnourished and sickly. Someone should investigate that place it is very strange. What's especially weird is they don't seem want to talk to you about purchasing anything. They really want people to get out the store. Very strange place, indeed.
Vienna Aquarium I have only visited this store once and I have to say it was not a pleasant experience. The air smelled like cigarette smoke and I saw several cockroaches roaming around the floor back where they keep the reptiles. Needless to say I didn't stick around for long.
Not sure if those other people were at the same store I was.... I went to the Vienna Aquarium to see their selection of saltwater fish after reading the nice reviews on here. Let me tell you, I was in for a shock! They keep overcrowded tanks, and half of the marine fish looked sick, no, make that 60%!!! They post no prices on anything either. When I asked the guy in the fish dept whether a Koran angel with ick and a fungus over his eye was for sale, his reply was a definitive "yes, why would he be here if he weren't for sale... read more
Great Fish store! Vienna Aquarium has been here for years - and for good reason! They are so knowledgeable, and can set up the beginning hobbyist as well as help the advanced aquarium owner. HUGE selection of fish! PROS: Selection, staff CONS:
Amazing selection of fish! This place is in a warehouse, and it looks like nothing from the outside. But the tanks of fish go on forever with an unbelievable selection of fish for tanks and ponds. We got a house with a koi pond and had no knowledge of taking care of it. We got all the information we needed in one trip to this place along with 3 new fish that make a colorful addition to our small pond.
