After doing some research on the web I came across Gilboys! I watched a couple of their videos and then phoned up for some advice on a piece of furniture I got for free from the marketplace which was in need of some love. Love This Gilboys Stuff! I ordered this product after seeing the fantastic results on the YouTube channel “Escape to the Dream” about a family restoring their French chateau. The old, awful furniture they would buy at brocantes came out gorgeous so I thought, why not? I bought it for my cherry and darker furniture, but decided to try it first on my oak cabinet. It looks fantastic! Next project is the Cherry furniture, I promise!

IF ONLY ..... I have just this very minute used your hard wax oil for the very first time on a GPlan side table. I have been restoring pieces of furniture for many years now and have a shed full of various types of finishes that I have experimented with and wasted money on! IF ONLY..I had known about Gilboys then! I now look at my past attempts and feel the need to redo them! The hard wax oil is amazing it just glides across the wood... it truly is as smooth as satin. You will not be disappointed!
Great wax polish I was unsure about the dark colour of the antique gold wax…..but I had the perfect item to try it on recently. It brought up my recent purchase of an art deco burr walnut desk box, which needed a little tlc, beautifully. I’m starting on the cocktail cabinet now 😉
