He takes the time to listen to you and what you are there for. He truly cares for his patients.
I truly don't understand the negative reviews at all. I'm a 30 year old female who was having unexplained, severe vestibular and neurological issues. When I saw the bad reviews before my first appointment, I was a bit worried, but decided to stick with it because I was miserable and Dr. Gilbert was recommended by a colleague. I went from having severe vestibular symptoms to almost none in 3 months. I am forever indebted to Dr. Gilbert for giving me my life back so I can be a good mom, wife, and occupational therapist. Was going to Cleveland Clinic but needed a Neurologist closer, researched a few then met Dr. Gilbert, staff was great and he talked to my wife and I not at us. I have a rare disease and he explained everything to us and now I have someone 10 minutes away. Very thankful
Kind knowledgeable Patient
Dr. Gilbert gives a lot more attention to patients than any other Physician I've known. He always explains conditions, treatments and test results in minute detail everytime I ask. He has a lot of empathy for the patients and always treats me with the utmost respect and professionalism. He always has patient information on hand and goes through the visit very meticulously. His staff is very friendly, responsive and caring too. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Gilbert to everyone.
The negative reviews are real! He is very rude and only believes in spending 3 minutes tops in the room with you if being seen in the hospital. I've never seen him in office because I find him to be totally obnoxious and really difficult to deal with. He was my neurologist when I was in for a GBS flare up and I cringed every time he'd enter the room. He was arrogant, inpatient and condescending. Just a very unpleasant person. His bedside manor is super poor. For a week he gave me a difficult time about filling out my paperwo... read more
I’ve been blessed in finding Dr. Gilbert. I’ve had seizures that are called “absent seizures”since I was a child my teachers and family just reacted as anyone who would see me and not realize would.... that I was daydreaming or zoning out for a few minutes. It was determined by Dr Gilbert that I have Left Frontal Lobe Epilepsy. The meds were started and adjusted accordingly and I am living without zoning out. He is also responsible for the disappearance of the migraines that have haunted me since age 7. If someone asked me i... read more
WOW what a great Doctor.....he is very compassionate and caring.. would recommend him....was great when I had my stroke
Dr. Gilbert refused to fill out forms I had a scheduled appointment for to do so. He advised it would be $200 per form, which no one said over the phone. Turns out the woman who made the appointment was "new" and yet somehow it was still my fault. He was condescending, dismissive, and didn't listen to a word I said. Told me to see another doctor and ripped up my form to my face. Then the office still had the gall to bill me this "appointment". Do not go here!
