Ordered a large quantity of fasteners and 2x4 for a commercial project. I needed it on short notice and they were able to deliver on time with no missing material. I will happily do business with Gilbert Lumber again, but I wish they had the convenience of being open until 5pm.
I wouldn't pay this guy money if his life depended on it. Came here once before and didn't think much of it but he was short then. I called today to see what time they close because it isn't four like shown on Google and he was rude for no reason at all. I was curious as another business owner why he was closing early and wondering if it was because of lack of employees, I was going to make sure and give him the business as a local. Great lumber yard! I originally ordered lumber from Carter Lumber for a project I was working on. The lumber I received was unusable, so I sent it back. The lumber I got at Gilbert Lumber was high quality - straight and relatively few knots. I highly recommend this store. Buy local! You can give them your order and they will put it together for you. You don't have to sift through a bunch of low quality lumber to get the few boards that will work like you have to do at the big box stores.
