We love this place. They have some of the best plants that they grow and sell. Different times of the year they sell poinsettas, pumpkins and trees. They have regular craft and decorating events monthly. They have a wonderful Cafe restaurant that has great food. And, best of all, they have a great gift store !! All if their proceeds support their adult community, so we travel out there on a regular basis.
What an absolutely amazing place! The Brookwood Community is truly one of a kind! A beautiful environment where adults with disabilities live, work, and contribute their talents in meaningful ways. We had lunch in the dining area, where the residents assist the staff by pouring water, serving plates, and even sharing the daily specials. Beautiful landscaping and a very nice meeting room. I stopped in the nursery for some lovely plants.
Sweet, kind, and helpful people. We bought a spider plant, and they gave us great advice on how to take care of it.
