Came to pick apples after being unusually impressed with this family farm’s layout for strawberries in the spring. I’ve been u picking to a bunch of places in KC/STL, Michigan, and Indiana. Gieringers is by far the most organized with picturesque fruit. I’ve become accustomed to the grit of picking fruit for homemade vinegars, jams, jellies, and butters - it’s time consuming and at times can be really gross if the fruit trees/bushes are not properly maintained.
