This department is one of the worst and now I know why. My investigation into this department after my false arrest, revealed potential systemic bias. My inquiry began with outreach to local leaders. Alderman Irene Fanelli did not respond to my concerns, and Aldermen Bryant Crisp and Tangela Mitchell initially expressed interest but ceased communication and took no further action. Corruption to the fullest extent of the law, GIbsonville cop damaged my property, but when the responding officer from Elon arrive the GiB cop told her, to doctor the report in his wife’s name. Moreover, the police report was never completed by Elon cop either, it’s been 3 years. DO NOT TRUST THESE PPL

This department is the best group of law enforcement officers that I have ever encountered. Keep up the good work and God bless you.
The police department is terrible. They overstep boundaries and don't know the law in which they are hired to enforce. Some, not all of the officers here are decent. I'd say the majority that I have come into should not be working. I personally don't like the way police business is handled. These officers need to be trained on being polite and respectful. This is a laundry list of things they need to work on. But what can I say? This is alamance County. Most people know of the corruption in this area.
