This is the second month in a row they have skipped picking up my trash. My account is current so there is no reason they aren’t picking up. When they took over Potomac Disposal, they also cut pickups to once a week but they are charging more. I will be finding a new trash removal company!
GFL bought out my local trash service provider. First thing they did was raise the price by $10 per quarter. Next quarter they cut services by 50%, 1 pickup per week instead of 2, without lowering the cost. Next quarter bill just arrived and it’s another $10 more. In short, GFL increased my cost per pickup by 128%. On top of that, they are incredibly unreliable. They frequently just don’t show up and refuse to offer service credits.
I’ve lived in 5 different States.. so far this trash company is the worst I’ve ever experienced. They skip your can often.. expect money when they don’t even pick up your trash.. charge a $30 can delivery fee… won’t allow you to pick it up yourself… have inconsistent billing notifications… suspend your account based off their errors.. DISCOURAGE you from canceling your service by charging a $50 can pick up fee…. You guessed it.. then don’t allow you to drop the can off yourself. Absolute terrible organization.
