Honestly, I don't know about their trash service. We canceled in January 2026 when they took over from Central Disposal. Unfortunately, our payment had already been made. They owe us money. I was patient, gave them some time because of the crossover. However, I have called at least once a month since January and NOTHING GETS DONE! They tell me it has to be escalated and someone will call back. Not one call back! I'd like to just get this finished and go on with my life. Trash missed 3 out of 4 weeks. Called and they said they would send someone, had 2 cans, they emptied 1. Called back and was told they would send them back, they never came. Each time I asked what the problem was and what was the plan to fix it? and each time I was told they would have dispatch call me. They never did. When I called to cancel my service they asked.....why are you leaving us?
Zero stars. We have had GFL for three years and every time we have called them it has been a nightmare. Our bill keeps going up without notifying us. The truck broke our lid on the can a few months ago, requested new can, still no can. A month ago requested a call back about billing and urgent call back, nobody called back. We are moving now and requested cancel service. They make you pay 3 months in advance, so I should get refunded for almost two entire months. My aunts house is designed as disabled and requires assistance with her trash container they have missed 4 out of 5 pick ups the trash piles up and smells. I call for her and I get promises and it’s still there!
I have tried 3 times to get a hold of someone at this company to get a commercial dumpster. Twice by phone and each time I am told a sales team person will get back with me, once by submitting a request online and still no one ever gets back to me. You guys have the absolute worst customer service on planet earth.
