Absolute disgrace of a company. Customer service is aweful when you can get them on the line. Zero stars should be allowed, here are some reasons why: 1. Their website is not compatible with Safari. That’s right if you have an Apple phone good luck doing anything on their website. This is after their update earlier this year hahaha 90% of people use Apple iPhones. 2. From high prices to litter all over the street, this is a horrible trash pick up service. Even canceling is a pain, as the trash container has been sitting out at the curb for well over a month waiting for them to pick it up. Calls and emails result in more postponements that end in no shows. Glad I switch away from them.
They show close time is 4pm. I pulled up at 355pm and was told the credit card machine goes down at 330pm.
Not only did they not pick my trash up for 3 weeks straight, I’ve been waiting over 2 months for a manager to call me back after I’ve called them multiple times in one week, for multiple weeks, to ask for a manager to speak with me. They also promised I would receive a check in the mail for a refund of the missed service and I have not received said check for over 2 months now. The trash service is fine but don’t bother with recycling… I know GFL will ignore this review, like it does all the others, but I will help anyone I can who hasn’t signed up for their services yet! We’ve had GFL for 4 months and our recycling has been delayed and/or not picked up at all more than half the time. Do the math - we would have had 8 recycling pick-ups because they offer service every other week, but I have gotten 5 voicemails of “mechanical issues” postponing pickup to the next day and most of the time they never... read more
