I think I echo most of the reviews on here. If there was zero stars, that's what I would leave here. We have had GFL for almost 5 years and have found that their standard of communication and customer service is quite low. We have switched to a different company for several reasons, and canceling services with GFL has been a nightmare. I called to cancel at the beginning of July, and less than 2 weeks later the next bill was auto drafted out of my account. If I could give them a lower score, I would. They consistently miss pick ups and just send an automated message after business hours to tell residents they will come next week. Also, when they do show up the amount of trash and oil left in the street is ridiculous.
This company is never available for customer calls, and now have not picked up my trash for the last 2 weeks. They are impossible to get in touch with. This is the last straw. Im done. Switching to the local service just like the 30 others im ny neighborhood No picture to share, but wish I would have got one of the local garbage service in our neighborhood collecting yesterday around 7 in the morning while GLF was chasing their tails.
