Horrible firm and even worse counsel. John ignored my emails and calls, dragged my case out for months, and then billed me $826 for doing nothing. I specifically asked him to talk to the Crown and he flat-out refused, saying we "already had a package deal." In the end, I had to go to court myself, show the Crown my evidence, and the Crown immediately said I was clearly the victim and dropped the case.
