Rhys didn’t submit correct paperwork during the setup of my account and now I am having to escalate to corporate to have this erroneous derogatory mark removed from my credit. I opened multiple accounting including a credit card which I was told would be set up in autopay. Having been an original School Employees Credit Union member going back 1990, this GESA iteration is decaying shell of what the company used to be. Poor customer service, in every possible manner including giving the wrong routing number resulting a failed transaction, couple with complete denial by the company. Steer clear as far as possible. It so bad, I just closed my account with them. Good riddence.
Gesa seems ok except for very few offices or cash machines but there are lots of highly negative reviews so maybe they are not ok. i am not sure.
I recently financed a car through GESA, and my auto loan is with them. When I tried to make my first payment through their app, it simply didn’t work. I ended up having to drive to a branch just to try to pay my loan. When I arrived, the teller didn’t even greet me. I explained that the app wasn’t letting me make my payment, and he casually told me I’d have to wait a few days for my account to connect. I’ve never had that issue with any other bank.
