First I am saddened by the amount of 1 star reviews I see but the first time I ever had to walk into a Gesa Credit Union bank is not because I bank with them but recently when I needed help regarding my car loan payment. I just want to justify the care and professional support that Timothy (branch manager) and his crew at this Tukwila/Sea Tac location has done for me. I’m very unhappy with my experience at Gesa Credit Union. The information I received was unclear and inconsistent, which made the whole process frustrating. On top of that, I was charged an extra $175 for just one day, which I believe is unreasonable and was not clearly explained to me in advance. As a customer, I expect transparency, accurate information, and fair charges. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations.
I withdrew $100 at their ATM expecting five 20’s, but I was given a $100 bill. Immediately went inside with my ATM receipt to see if they could break a $100. The teller and “manager” told me NO and it was only for members. It would have been nice if they could have helped me out and provided info on joining this credit union. It’s very convenient to where I work, SEA airport. I guess I’ll stay with BECU.
