Worthless waste of time, they cannot help with nearly anything unless youre a spouse being physically abused. They claim to offer assistance with civil cases, but in reality, they do not. I got the explanation that "sometimes our website says we help with those things like divorce, debt, and custody, but we actually cannot, you'll have to hire a private attorney(s)". Claim they want to help the disabled and handle civil rights cases. Yet said that I need to hire a private attorney after I was discriminated against for having my service dog. If I could afford an attorney I would have went that route. Just seems like I don't have a voice
Called Georgia Legal Services in regards to a custody hearing. They were not able to help because of current grants, but the woman I spoke to on the phone, Liz, was very helpful and knowledgeable. She even gave me further legal services that could potentially help my situation.
