I had been checking out George's Furniture at local shows around the DC area for several years before I was ready to bite the bullet. Money had been tight, but I had been saving up and really wanted a quality dining room set that would grow with my expanding family. Had a great experience from start to finish with the people at Georges Furniture! Every person we dealt with was polite, knowledgeable and professional. The kitchen table we had them make was outstanding! Just a beautiful Black Walnut table and Leafs with lots of sap wood as we wanted. Incredible craftsmanship with style and beauty. We definitely will be ordering more furniture from them next time when we need it.
Beautiful, handcrafted all hardwood furniture. No plywood or particle board here. Ours is solid walnut, with the table tops made of variegated sapwood, with a beautiful pattern of light (sapwood) and dark walnut. Each piece handmade and signed and dated by one artisan. It's not cheap, but it's far nicer than any of the made-in China furniture you'll find at commercial furniture stores. They even got it to me in time for Christmas! We're very, very happy with it.
Please know how very pleased we are with the Welcome Table you built for our church. The craftsmanship is Excellent. One of the comments we heard most often when folks first say the table was, "It looks so very official," along with, "What a wonderful addition to our church." Thank you!
We absolutely love our live edge black walnut dining room table! Bob worked with us during the whole process giving us options and making sure it met our expectations.
